Design & Achieve Your Goals with Creative Thinking
Step 5: Reframe Your Goals
Think about the answers to your questions in step 4. Very likely you will want to reframe your stated goal. You may even wish to change it completely. If this is how you feel, then make the change now. If not, then by all means stick with your original goal.
Action
Have you changed your goal from step 3? If so, write the new goal down.
I will publish the 12 step Designer Goals process over the next few days. Here are the steps we will do together.
- Introduction (This page!)
- Acknowledge personal responsibility.
- Define your goal or ambition.

- Imagine achieving your goal.
- Identify subgoals you need to take to live that dream.
- Build ideas for achieving subgoals.
- Putting it all together
- Build to-do and don’t-do lists
- Using your imagination
